Welcome to "UPTOWN TOY POODLES & YORKIES" We are located on the Eastern shore in Maryland. All my poodles and yorkies are AKC registered and maintain the AKC standards of a Toy Poodle & a Yorkie. My teacup line comes in variety of colors and has very small Dante-lines. My teacup poodle & teacup yorkie are all raised here with me where they can socialize with people & other dogs. All my beautiful dogs get the love and care they deserve. My puppies for sale come with a written guarantee and are all approved by my veterinarian that specialize in small breeds teacup. My puppies leave my home in excellent condition, are up to date with all vaccines and worming. Teacup line very as to when they may leave my home. You might ask, what is a "Parti Poodle"? A parti is also called a Harlequin, they come in a variety of colors parti black & white , parti chocolate & white, parti red & white, parti silver & white. The Parti's were very popular in the 17th & 18th Century in Germany and only royalty had them. The English Kennel Club set the standard and decided only to accept solid colors as of now. The Harlequin (Parti) are still pretty rare these days but are getting more and more popular as people find out that they are a purebred and are registered with AKC.

You might ask, what is a "Parti Yorkie"? The parti color gene has been in the breed since the 1800's. Since the Parent Club designated the traditional yorkie colors of Blue and Tan, etc. as part of the yorkie standard, the parti yorkie puppies that were discarded of. The parti yorkie, color gene is a simple, recessive color gene. In order for the parti gene to be expressed, the parti gene must be on both sides of the pedigree. An akc registered parti yorkies is the same as a standard yorkie the only thing different is the color of the coat.
